Paperwork Seminar

DESCRIPTION:  The 1-hour seminar walks through Florida requirements and completes the application paperwork, fingerprint card and photos for the Florida Nonresident Concealed Firearm License.

FLORIDA LICENSE IS GOOD FOR 7 YEARS and is PORTABLE. If you move from one state to another, just notify Florida of your new residence address!

[Both Kansas and Missouri issue licenses only to their own residents, and when you move out of state their license is no longer valid.]

The following are included for each participant.

• Application for Concealed Weapon or Firearm License (with instructions)
• Notary Public Services
• Official Fingerprint Card (with instructions)
• Photograph Services (duplicate 2”x2” glossy photos)
• Chapter 790, Florida Statutes
• Envelope to mail the application packet to Florida, pre-addressed and postage paid
• Everything you need to mail the application to Florida but your fingerprints and personal check to Florida for $117.

COST:  $45

ENROLLMENT & PAYMENT METHODS: 

• The preferred method is to enroll and pay online with a VISA or MasterCard, credit card or debit card.
• Cut off is the day before the class or when the class is full.
• For students who do not have internet access, tuition is payable to Equalizer Defense by cashier’s check, money order, or personal check received 7 days prior to class.  Mail with Enrollment Form to 14620 W. 78th St., Lenexa, KS  66216.

LOCATION:  The seminar takes place at Bass Pro Shops in OLATHE, KANSAS = 12051 S. Renner Blvd., West of I-35 & South of 119th Street.

TIMES:

• Classes are held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:

• Your driver’s license or non-driver identification card
• Your Certificate of Completion (proof of firearm training acceptable to Florida)*
• Check or money order for $117 payable to the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services

*Participants must submit with their Florida application some proof of firearm training.  Our Kansas Concealed Handgun License Training Course qualifies, and we issue a Certificate of Completion for Kansas and one for Florida.  Participants in this seminar who have not taken our CHL Course are responsible for their own proof of training to submit with their application.
