What Our Students Are Saying
Kay,
I wanted to drop you a note to thank you and Bob for providing such an awesome training session. I can not express in words, which would do justice to how much I learned and insight gained.
There have been individuals that have approached me wanting information about CCH. I of course sent them to your web site.
If there is anything that I can ever do for you guys please do not hesitate to call on me.
Thanks again.

Hi Bob and Kay,
I wanted to take the opportunity to send an e-mail and comment on your Enhanced Shooting Skills class that I took on Sunday, April 27th.
I'll start by saying that my expectations were high and you totally exceeded them. I couldn't believe how much information and training that we received in an afternoon and how much you improved my skills in such a short time. I liked the small class. Two to four people is just right.
I would like to say to all of you out there that have your CCH. Unless you plan on leaving your hand gun at home locked up, you need to take this class. If you don't it's like having a drivers licence and not knowing how to drive. You all have this new tool at your disposal, but do you know how to properly, safely and efficiently present your firearm, acquire a target, clear a jam or miss-fire, re holster, in full, low and no light conditions? After what I have just learned, I feel that this class should be mandatory prior to being able to carry a firearm in public, although the AG office doesn't see it that way.
It is now part of your new responsibility with carrying your firearm to receive proper training so you can protect yourself and your family without endangering innocent people.
One final note, Bob guarantees the class and I will back him 100%.
Thanks Bob and Kay for the knowledge. I am safer and more confident. I would love to take more advanced classes from you if you develop them.
Sincerely,
Andy Everett

I was part of your class on Feb. 2. Turned in all paper work for my wife (Kristy), and myself. Went like clock work.
Wanted to say thank you for all your efforts. And report back to you on how well respected your names were as instructors. People in sheriffs office really were happy to hear we had taken course from you folks.
Please feel free to use comments as you see fit. Including my name and number if helpful. My wife and I are both very grateful for all we have learned from you both.
Be in touch about further classes. Thanx again.

Dear Kay and Bob:
I wanted you both to know that I truly benefited from your excellent class on Saturday. I went this morning and got my fingerprints done and turned in my paperwork at the sheriff's office. You made it very easy to meet the requirements, and I knew Roy F. Lee would not have steered me wrong. He remains one of my top heroes.
Thank you again for all of your knowledge and experience. I talked all weekend long to my husband about the various stories, and it makes me want to take another class from you regarding just good shooting habits.
Before when I had Roy standing next to me, he would be walking me through the stance and breathing, trigger pressure and it was more comfortable for me in that situation. Shooting Saturday in front of a bunch of guys that I did not know made me a little nervous, but all in all it was an outstanding experience and I will be recommending your program to others.
Thank you again, I wish the very best for both you and your family.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Stumpf

Dear Kay:
I am so sorry for the late reply, but it has been hectic since I took your class. I have received my paperwork to get my license, now I have to stop and go get it. But as to your request to use my feedback absolutely.
I still am telling stories that I learned in class from you and your husband, and I have thought of you often lately as our business checking account has been counterfeited by a check cashing counterfeit ring, known bad guys to the police in several of our surrounding cities and there is no action being taken by the police. It has required that I be brave and I think of you and how you came across to me as brave and strong. You have served as my visual mentor as I am working my mind around this interesting lesson. There are bad people in this world, and for all the precautions I try to take to make my environment safe, it seems like it never ceases to amaze me.
I thank you in more than ways than you will know, for the class, the lessons and information, for knowledge and strength. I know God had a reason why Roy F. Lee steered me towards you and your husband's class, and I am grateful. I hope all is well with you and keep on doing what you are doing because it is the right thing to do.
Sincerely: Kimberly Stumpf
Kay and Bob,
Just a note to express our appreciation for conducting a training program that not only was filled with information, but it made us think twice about the responsibility you take on when carrying a concealed weapon. I left with a whole new outlook towards carrying a gun.
You work well as a professional team. Keep up the good work.

Hi Bob and Kay,
Just a few lines of thanks for a very good experience. I recently completed your CCH class and was very pleased with the whole experience.
When I first contacted you I was a little nervous, since "tin can plinking" as a boy was my only shooting experience and that was a long time ago. From that first contact and throughout the course you both were very supportive and encouraging.
Bob suggested I take the Enhanced Shooting Skills course before the CCH classroom work. I did , and found it very valuable ,and combined with a few trips to The Bullet Hole for practice ,led to confidence at the range for the CCH class shooting qualifications. For those with little or no recent shooting experience I recommend it highly before the Classroom sessions.
The classroom session was very well paced , and the considerable amount of material covered was done efficiently and effectively.
You both continually stress SAFETY and that was very impressive. It was done in a serious but teaching and encouraging way. We certainly all got the message.
I give the whole experience an A+. I have recommended it to my friends and will continue to do so.
Thanks again,
Jim Gustin

Kay,
I wanted to take a moment to tell you both how much I enjoyed being a part of your class on Saturday.
Right off the bat I was aware that the class was going to be organized, timely and informative. Just the fact that when you asked us to introduce ourselves, you were thoughtful enough to provide ( on screen ) the information you were looking for us to answer. I noticed most class members would refer to it at least once during their time speaking. That spoke volumes about how the class was going to be presented.
Secondly, I was impressed with the comfortable surrounding in the classroom. Not overly packed in, comfortable temperature and the two of you presented in a casual but quite informative manner. Using a computer based software added to the convenience and professionalism of the class. That relaxed atmosphere and your ability to joke and laugh with the class just made it more enjoyable.

Bob,
I was impressed with the organization and presentation of your Enhanced Shooting Skills class, but that was only the beginning. I arrived thinking that since I could shoot at a target, what else would be necessary for carrying a concealed handgun. Boy was I enlightened.
The limited size of the group allowed me to get individual feedback on my basic shooting skills in addition to the various techniques I learned. I am using the skills I learned in dry practice almost every evening. I am a strong believer in the brain and muscles working in an automatic fashion and I have seen these reflexive results in the short time since the class.
The basic five step process for drawing the gun from the holster was worth the cost of the entire class. If I have a problem in dry practice I know I can slow down and process my actions in slow motion.
When working in low light, I had no idea of the difficulties I would face. And I didn't stop to think of the defensive practices that must go along with a dangerous confrontation.
I felt this class must be comparable to what many law enforcement officers receive in their training. Your assistance in improving my knowledge and shooting skills was an extremely valuable experience and I would encourage anyone to invest in this training.
Thanks again for your assistance,
Woody Houseman

Bob & Kay,
I just wanted to compliment you on the wonderful class. It is a long day for everyone, but well worth it! Great insight on the realities of carrying. I especially enjoyed your acting! Very real!
