Ever dreamed of going on safari in Africa? Haven't gone because:

(1) I can't afford it.

Well, that pretty much describes Bob's reasons, until a good friend invited him to join a small group to hunt in South Africa in 2005. It was to be that "once in a lifetime" dream trip. But the moment he came back, he told Kay "you have to come with me next time!" Check out Bob's 2005 South African safari journal and photos.He got 13 wild animals. Kay says they are incredibly beautiful (except for the warthog).

Then in 2008, we found ourselves as high bidders on a South African safari at auction. Kay and Bob spent 10 days in May atop a hilll surrounded by 5,000 acres of wild game. Here's the 2008 South African safari journal and photos.
