Target Practice Session
DESCRIPTION: 45 minute target practice includes:
- Review of basic gun safety rules
- Review of stance, grip, sight alignment,trigger control
- Hands-on shooting of your gun using your ammunition
- Our targets
- Instructor supervision for 45 minutes
- Diagnosis of accuracy problems
- Suggestions for improving accuracy
- No more than four students per instructor at any one time
Does NOT include:
- Speed shooting
- Rental of our gun or use of our ammunition (may be arranged separately for additional fee)
Session is designed for students who have enrolled in our official Kansas or Missouri concealed handgun license course and who desire a practice session prior to such class.
COST: $45.
SIGN UP:
- The preferred method is to sign up and pay online with a VISA or MasterCard. Cut off is the day before the practice session or when the class is full.
- For students who do not have internet access, tuition is payable to Equalizer Defense by cashier’s check, money order, or personal check received 7 days prior to class, mailed with the completed Sign Up Form.
LOCATION:
KS: Outdoor shooting range to be determined. Instructor will contact students after they enroll regarding the range to be used.

*Arrange with Instructor 45 minutes to begin and end within this time block. For example, the last session of the day will begin no later than 45 minutes prior to the end time listed for the time block.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE TRAINING SESSION:
- A handgun in safe working condition (or rent one from us, additional $20 including ammunition)
- At least 75 rounds of factory ammunition proper for that handgun
- A belt and holster that covers the trigger guard
- Eye protection (eyeglasses or sunglasses are sufficient)
- Ear protection (ear plugs are sufficient)
- A driver’s license or non-driver identification card
- The Release Agreement printed at the end of the online enrollment process, signed and dated.
- Students must leave handguns in their vehicles until instructed otherwise at the range.
